This is one of only five Abingdon Classic Cars factory built new SEC cars,
Out of the five, only two survive today, the 1.8 Turbo roadster, and this car.
SD1 V-8 engine, and 5 speed gearbox.
This MG has had only 2 owners from new! The first owner for 6 months and the second owner since September 1976! Although he did register the car again in 1995 due to change of address.
The MG has had thousands spent on it over the years including, just short of £10,000 in 2000 for a full restoration!
This 1970 MGB GT was completely restored by the MG specialist Tim Kelly (St Agnes, Cornwall) in 2001. In 2011 it had a new unused 1,860cc Stage 2 Peter Burgess engine fitted with waterpump, Alloy rocker cover and heavy duty clutch. The car looks stunning finished in red with Moss chrome wire wheels .....

I will be sad to see my 1974 MGB GT V8 go, but as I have a back injury she has to go also I barely have time to drive the car. She has had six owners since new, I purchased her in 2008, we have a massive history file for the car which was originally purchased by a lady Doctor in the North-East of England .....
1980 MGB GT This car cost around £6500 in 1980, if you calculate inflation the same car would now be in the £25000 mark as a new car which this virtually is. Black with original orange stripped cloth interior low mileage 1289 miles from new. The car pretty much as it left left the factory in July .....
