In graphite metallic grey with black leather interior.
An MGB GT with a bit of bling!
We have just taken this BGT in part exchange from a local customer who purchased it from Lenham Motor Company a couple of years ago. They fitted new sills and castle sections at the time and car is structurally excellent. As part of a re-commsissioning program they also replaced the radiator, the petrol tank, the brake servo and master cylinder, and fitted new brakes all round. They fitted new front suspension bushes and track rod ends, a new battery, new headlights and new wheel bearings. The car has covered under 2,000 miles since then.
The metallic grey bodywork, leather seats, Minilite wheels and Sebring rear end were already fitted when Lenham acquired the car. The last owner has continued the modifying theme and added front and rear fog lights, spot lights, air horns, an uprated 55amp alternator, eliptical rear springs, electronic ignition, an electric cooling fan, new Avon tyres, and Green Stuff front brake pads. The car now has a Gaz shock absorber conversion to the front and rear suspension and a full stainless exhaust with a fruity twin pipe rear box ( we can fit a quieter rear exhaust box if you prefer)
He also replaced the bonnet with a steel MGC item with louvres let in to it.
The engine remains in standard tune with twin carburettors and the gearbox is the normal four speed unit with overdrive.
Historic vehicle - tax exempt. MOT exempt but has full MOT till 29/8/20 (no advisories). 81,960 miles on the clock. At some time in the past it had a new floor pan, sills, petrol tank and fuel sender,.....
We are always looking for nice clean MG stock, Midgets, BGTs, Roadsters, MG 1100s, Magnettes, MGA's etc
Instant decisions with prompt payment and same day payment either by bank transfer or cash.
Full restoration required for this early and quite rare MK1 GT. Castle sections and sills are good, comes with original aluminium bonnet and interior, non overdrive gearbox.
