The Citroen DS is the quintessential French classic car.
This example is a 1972 LHD Paris built D Special with the 1985cc carburettor engine and four speed manual gearbox.
It was intially registered in Rome in Italy and given the registration number Roma M51762. Paperwork in the history file states that its three Italian owners consisted of an opera singer, a High Court Judge and an antique collector.
It was imported into the UK in 2004 and registered at the DVLA in April 2005 with only two registered keepers showing on the V5 since then.
Since arriving in the UK it has had the seats refurbished in quality leather and a new carpet set fitted.
The documentation file contains the current V5, copies of the original Italian registration documentation, a Citroen Car Club dating certificate, the paperwork associated with the DVLA registration and the current MOT which runs until July 2018.
Twelve months Free Historic Road Tax can be arranged for the new owner if required. The current milometer reading is 18445 kilometers which will not be correct.
