1984 Mercedes-Benz 190e 2.5-16 Evo 2 DTM For Sale

Mercedes-Benz 190e EVO 2 DTM

This is an outstanding example of a Mercedes-Benz 190e 2. 5-16 EVO 2 DTM race car. It was imported in 1991 as an original Rallye (Group ‘A’) competition car by Fricker (Authorised Mercedes Tuner). It partook in a WRC Acropolis and a couple of local street rallies. Due to it being a Group A spec car it was able to be evolved into a DTM race car based on the homologation A-5269.
Strengthened and seam-welded. “2. 5 16 EVO” body kit (DTM). Group ‘A’ roll cage. Fully built 2. 5 litre engine. Getrag dogleg gearbox, brand new 5. 1 diff from MKB. This is a “no corners cut” fully homologated build.
