Power is provided by a stock 1.9-liter inline-four mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, and the car was serviced in preparation for sale with a new timing belt, brakes, spark plugs, oil/filter change, and more as described in the listing below. Now showing under 66k kilometers
The 1.9L GTI included model-specific badges on the C-pillar, a black fluted plastic panel between the taillights, and clear front indicator lenses. Black bumpers and side strips with a red pinstripe, black wheel arch trim, a large glass sunroof, and a small rear spoiler were also part of the GTI exterior trim package for this model year. The grey finish on this car shows a few blemishes, and a small rust bubble is present near the lower-left side of the front windshield.
The 1.9 GTI features disc brakes all around, as well as a stiffer suspension than Peugeot’s 205 CTi versions. The brake system was refreshed by the seller with new rotors, pads, and flexible brake lines. New anti-roll bar bushings were also installed. Stock 15? Speedline SL299 wheels wear Dunlop SP Sport 3000A tires.
Factory black floor mats feature red trim, and red lettering/numbering is present on the 3-spoke steering wheel and shift knob. Electric windows and air conditioning were standard items, and the original Sony cassette radio with Peugeot branding remains in place. The odometer indicates 65,665 kilometers
The 1,905cc XU9JA inline-four is paired with a BE 3/5 5-speed manual transmission, and this example is equipped with an aftermarket rear muffler. The seller has recently serviced the car with a new timing belt, oil/filter, spark plugs, rotor, cap, ignition leads, and more. Records show that the parts were sourced from Germany.
