Lancia Fulvia 1.6 HF S1 Replica Project
1967 coupe 818- 130 RHD UK Car V5C in my name – 4 previous owners. Starts / Drives for loading purposes only as brakes poor. A unique opportunity to build a S1 1600HF replica at a fraction of the price.
The shell needs full restoration in all of the usual places: All wheel arches and sills, front floor pans, rear valance, subframe mountings and work on offside rear spring hanger box section. Subframe only needs minor work to make excellent.
The shell has Alloy doors, bonnet and boot which are all in very good condition and open & close very well – only off- side door has a small scrape. The locks appear to be working ok, except passenger door which is temperamental.
Fully rebuilt 1300cc engine fitted with late ‘303’ pistons and block (alternator fitted – needs wiring), reground crankshaft, refaced valves etc. Runs exceptionally well with rare 35mm Dellorto Carburettors and replaced rubber mounting – sounds great. Complete new exhaust just fitted with 1600 HF stainless steel manifold. Radiator has been re-cored some time ago but needs minor attention to lower brackets.
New seals on front callipers with new Girling pads. Aeroquip lines fitted at some stage in its life. Some spares for rear callipers. Master cylinder needs attention, as brakes are working on the front callipers only – rear circuit piston seized. Rear brakes are free and handbrake works ok.
Dashboard and headlining very good.

1600 HF ENGINE
Stripped needing full rebuild & repair work. Main parts are there: Bare Gas Flowed Head with posts (needs repair on one combustion chamber), Crankshaft (std) needs regrinding, Block (std) needs re-boring evidence of ‘frost damage repair’ but was not leaking – used on a rally car with no problems. Crankcase, Connecting Rods (Balanced with new bushes – but one needs reclaiming), Pistons are new Asso 82.2mm in the box with rings and pins which have never been fitted. Original Fanalone Camshaft Cover. Ex Works profile 50/70 11.3mm Lift Camshafts and Group 4 Exhaust manifold never used. Original HF / early ‘S’ oil cooler housing. Special Inlet Manifold to accept DHLA or DCOE.
4 ultra-rare 6 X 13 Original S1 Fanalone - Cromodora wheels.
1600 HF uprights with 1600 HF top wishbones (220mm) and front spring.
BADGES & TRIM
Original ‘ralley 1.6 HF’ Fanalone badges and original ‘Triangles’ for front panel – mint.
Rear HF number plate lights.
High quality ‘Fanalone’ wheel arches (Never fitted).
1300 S1 PARTS
Almost new 77.6mm Pistons and re-bored block for S1 (Dynamo). 1 top ring missing though - fully balanced with rods. Complete suspension units for N/s and O/s including top, bottom wishbones, hub and driveshafts.
New Indicator stalk
Some other useful parts to be included.
Genuine reluctant reason for sale – house renovation and loft conversion budget has spiralled out of control – so can’t keep two Fulvias.
