The Alec Issigonis designed BMC model ADO16 was Britain's best selling car for most of the 1960's but is now not a common sight on today's roads.
This example is an Austin 1300 Mkll four door saloon and is in excellent condition as can be seen in the photographs.
It had a substantial amount of money spent on it in 2010 which included a full professional respray and a professional full engine rebuild. It has recently had a new set of carpets fitted.
The history file contains the current V5, the current MOT, confirmation of the work undertaken in 2010, 39 previous MOT certificates, DVLA paperwork including a copy of a previous V5 and numerous other invoices for parts fitted and work completed over the years. It also includes a certificate and rosette for a prize won at a show.
Although the car is now MOT exempt it has an MOT which runs until September 2020.
The car will be licensed for twelve months from the date of sale for the new owner at no cost as the car qualifies for the Historic Taxation class.
This Austin should turn out to be an excellent investment in the future.
Prospective buyers are welcome to come and view by appointment the car in our Leeds showroom.
