The Lagonda LG 6 Rapide was created under the direction of Walter Owen Bentley. The secret of his sovereignty can be found under the hood in form of a Meadows engine, which had already proven its qualities with a Le Mans victory, before being refined by W.O. Bentley, after he had sold his own brand to Rolls-Royce. Among the changes Bentley made to the 4.5-liter six-cylinder engine and drivetrain concept was the introduction of a flexible engine mount and synchronous transmission, which significantly improved the driving experience. Already in his day and even today, the Lagonda LG 6 Rapide is considered by the majority of the collectors the most beautiful English vehicle from before the war, which combines quality, design and luxury with a super driving performance!
