1967 BSA Bantam D13 Matching Chassis & Engine Numbers For Sale
I bought this bike about a year or so ago un-registered, went through all the lengthy correspondence and finally got it registered on an age related plate. It is complete and has an MOT until 18th May 2019, and has sat in dry storage since. I had every intention of adding it to my collection but i have decided to emigrate to Spain and i can only take a few with me so i am selling off the majority of my collection (please see my other listings). It comes with Dating certificate from BSA Bantam club showing a little of the history. V5 present. It has Matching engine & frame numbers (please see photo's). It has had a new battery and was running fine when it was MOT'd but sat since, so may need a little fettling. The last owner had the frame re-painted (please see photo's as i have had to scratch some of the paint off to verify the frame number). Mileage as far as i can tell is genuine at 11,380 but can't be verified.
The D13 is a very rare model as BSA withdrew most of them from sale as some people were superstitious about the Number 13 and re-done on D14, Not sure how many D13's slipped the net but cant be that many, so can only increase in value, please do your own research and you will find this out.
Bike is located just outside of LEWES, East Sussex with my Son-in Law, as I am back and forward to Spain. Any information, or to arrange a viewing (Monday to Saturday only) please phone JAY on 07885 327969.
Payment is by Bank Transfer or on Collection ONLY.
