1968 MORRIS MINOR 1000 TRAVELLER – known as ‘WOODY’
This near concours condition Traveller is stunningly finished in unmarked smoke grey with contrasting pale blue trim, blue carpets and pale woodwork. It has had a full ground up nut and bolt restoration with a bare metal repaint to a high standard and comes with a full photographic record of the restoration. It is also numbers matching vehicles and bears its original number plate which is both valuable and transferable – GEC 171G – General Electric Company 171G. It has had 8 owners and has covered 49,500 miles in total but only around 2000 miles since the restoration. Since being in its last ownership – it has won a few awards and although the car comes with a couple of cups. However, the previous owner still has some others. ‘Woody’ has been set up with disc brakes and a Servo for a safer driving experience and has a manual gearbox.
