This wonderful Austin A40 Farina Mkl Deluxe saloon is in excellent condition.
In 2015 the car was recomissioned after a period of storage. The paintwork was fully refurbished and a new starter motor, distributor, fuel pump, slave cylinder etc were fitted along with a fully reconditioned 1098cc engine that cost £1097. Since then the car has covered less than 4000 miles.
In 2016 it was fitted with a reconditioned gearbox that cost £534 and in April 2018 it had four new tyres fitted.
The current MOT runs until September 2019 although it is now MOT exempt and the car will be licensed for twelve months from the date of sale for the new owner at no cost as the car qualifies for the Historic Taxation class.
The history file contains the current V5, the current MOT certificate, some previous MOT certificates, invoices for the reconditioned engine and gearbox along with invoices for many other parts fitted and work completed, DVLA road taxation paperwork and original handbooks. The current mileage reading is 56846.
Classic 1960s motoring and likely to be an excellent investment.
