Stunning Corvette Daytona 5.7 For Sale (1977) edit C82163 | | | The greenwood corvette Daytona is without doubt the most radical of all the body styles. Every inch
of the outrageous body was designed to either aid in cooling the engine or brakes, reduce aerodynamics
or assist down force. while still showing some semblance of its C3 Corvette heritage. This body was supplied by Ecklers Corvette Tittisville Florida. It has a very rare Coupe style back window only a few were ever made like this. It once had a 454 turbo engine but this proved to be to rough and radical for the road. It then became a registered show car called "fantasy Corvette". Exhibiting at all the shows in Florida. The car came second in the world wheels Miami 1987. With its sister show car that came 1st. can be seen in the film Nasty heros and Miami vice. This is one only four original Roly Fernandiz cars built by ultimate coach works. General: I have had a lot of fun with this car and fancy starting my next winter project. This is probaly one of the most photographed car at every show I have attended. The car drives a treat and if kept below 70 on a motor way it is quite good on petrol. The pictures unfortunatly cannot show how stunning and unusal the size and shape the car really is. A real head turner. Featured in the Corvette Classic club magazine. Once stared on TV Men and Motors with Penny Malett.
