Porsche Speedster For Sale (1957) edit C78708 | | | This is a one of a kind, end of the world recreation of a 1957 Porsche Speedster done by world famous automotive sculptor, J. Paul Nesse, for himself. After flying to every company's headquarters in the US who builds Speedster recreations to find the very best one and closest to original, Paul started with a ThunderRanch example as it was far and away the most faithfull to the original in detail and the highest quality. He recast an original steering wheel, all of the control knobs, used Porsche original squareweave carpets, original headliner material for the hardtop, built lowbow irons for the soft top, installed a 165HP SCAT engine shrouded to appear exactly as a 4 cam engine would, had a special exhaust built so that it would sound exactly as a 4 cam did. The incredible paint, done in Auratium Green as were 13 original Speedsters compliments the red racing Speedster seats correctly piped in white. It has all correct Porsche original badges and ID plates and is title as a 1957 Porsche with a correct 1957 Porsche ID number. The car further features alloy brake drums and all independent suspension. It comes with 3 sets of wheels, one set in matching Auratium Green, another in the silver tone, another in chrome. There is none better looking or better driving, period.
