1962 Mercedes 190sl - Ivory on Red barn find w 2 tops...I am listing this car for a friend. He is the 3rd owner. The car was bought in Germany in 1962 brought to the US the same year. The second owner bought the car about 1965 and drove it until 1968. My friend bought the car in 1968 and drove it until 1978 when it was parked in dry storage. You can see the 1978 tag still on the car...The photos tell the story. I believe the body is solid...There is no rust through, The floors and trunk are good. I do not know about the undercarriage but I would guess it would be representative of the rest of the car... The speedo shows 78,000+ but it probably has about 90,000 as the speedo cable broke prior to the car being parked. He has the large window hardtop as well as the soft top.. He also has all service records. The car needs a complete restoration. I will forward all serious offers.
