Austin Mini Countryman fully restored For Sale (1967) edit C120245 | | | I am pleased to offer this superb 1967 Mk1 Austin Mini Countryman in Tartan red with matching red interior.
I bought this beautifully restored car to replace my other 1967 Countryman and to use for shopping and taking the dogs down to the park, but it is far too good for that and therefore it needs to go to someone who will cherish it and perhaps may want to show it?
The last owner had owned the Countryman since 1992 and it was maintained by the local garage. Recently the body has been completely overhauled by a classic car specialist to a high standard with complete new floors and sills, A panels and wings. A complete new wood set has been fitted and has been sanded and vanished seven times. All the panels are rust free including the doors.

The speedometer stopped working a few years ago at 67299 miles so I have just replaced it with another full working one showing 41000 miles.
This Countryman drives and looks superb and has an MOT until June 2010 and is taxed until May 2010
Who needs a modern car when you can have a stylish practical classic which doesnt depreciate, is tax free, costs £100 a year to insure and returns 50 mpg?
