VW Golf GTI 16V - *Mint condition* rare Monza Blue For Sale (1987) edit C120022 | | | With very much regret, up for sale is my 1987 Monza Blue VW Golf GTI 16v - 3 door.
Being a 1987 model it is the small window and small bumper model which also has the bumper overriders with washer jets (very rare).
The car now sits on the standard bottletop alloys with excellent tyres all round (not porsche alloys).

As you can see from the pictures my car is in excellent condition - the paintwork is amazing, dent free and amazingly clean, the car only comes out in dry weather as its only a weekend car and is kept in a garage all the time and also under a cover.
This car could easily be a show car with minimal effort and a great stand / club car.
Would suit true enthusiast.

It sits on a brand new fully adjustable set of coilovers which have only covered approx 100 miles.

The current Milage is low for a car of 22 years old (105k) with an A4 folder full of receipts showing the history.
The MOT expires in August 2010.
The tax has just expired nov.09 but can be taxed at the buyers expence.
Insurance is very cheap - i'm 38 and currently pay £105 fully comp per year. The V5 document is in my name.
The car drives as it should and picks up well in all gears, interior is rattle free for a car this old.
The interior itself is generally good condition, theres the usual wear to the drivers seat, no stereo, this has been replaced by a previous owner with a couple of built in dials showing oil temp etc. the rear shelf has no stupid holes and the boot is fully carpeted, and very clean in the wheel well.

Please no time wasters, for a 22 year old car it can only be described as mint condition - pictures don't do it justice, veiwing or inspections welcome.
The 5No. 15" Porsche alloys all with metal centre caps are all are in mint condition with no kerbing etc. full set of chrome wheel nut caps (+ spare set).
The adaptors to fit the porsche alloys are expensive H & R ones with all bolts etc and not some cheap immitations that will crack. these are available for separate sale at £550.
