Early 61' MBZ 220s Fintail Heckflosse 220 S B For Sale (1963) edit C119035 | | 1961 MBZ 220 S Heckflosse sedan. This is a completely original,unrestored early "Fintail", in its original tan finish with blue leatherette interior. ORIGINAL 69K miles. Second owner since 1987.
The car is completely stock and original. Stock 2.2L 6 cyl motor with factory SOLEX dual carburetors. They are well synchronyzed and always start right up. The engine is strong and does not have oil leaks or make any internal noises or knocking. It has been in strogage since 1999.
Original 4-spd manual transmission works fine into all forward and reverse gears, without grinding. There is no clutch slippage and no differential or wheel bearing or axle noise.
The body is very straight, with no dents. NO RUST, No accidents. NEVER repainted; still in its glossy tan factory color.
Interior is nice and complete. The blue leatherette is in remarkable condition.
All door panels, hardware and instrments are complete and work. All lights work. Wipers, heater/ defroster, horn work.The dome courtesy light works.
All chrome and trim is complete and still shinny, not pitted. Original full hubcaps with beauty rings, with no curb rash or dents.
This is an UNRESTORED original Low-mileage early Heckflossen, with no front turn signals. It is reasonably priced for a solid, rust-free ORIGINAL 220s B. CLEAR California title.
