Jaguar Mk2 3.4 MOD SOLD (1962) C118997 | | | Not for sale - it has been sold via a Car and Classic Free Ad | | This is not a restored car, but has had a considerable amount spent on it in recent years. The body has been resprayed to a decent standard in the desirable gun metal grey colour. The bodywork is in good condition with no evidence of extensive welding. The bumpers, over riders, window frames, rear light plinths, number plate light plinth, bonnet mascot, wheel spinners and grille have been rechromed to a high standard. The body moulding chrome is in good condition but hasn't been rechromed. The interior is original and is in good condition - a new headlining has been fitted fairly recently. The veneer is in above average condition with no nasty cracks or missing bits. Mechanically the car in in average condition. The engine holds good oil pressure and there are no nasty knocks or clunks from the suspension. The car is fitted with a limited slip diff and has the later, all synchro, gearbox. Taxed until June 2010, MoT until July 2010. Having looked a numerous Mk2s over the last couple of years, I believe that this car represents good value at the price, having had the expensive work done to the body. I am open to offers around £15750 as I need to sell.
