Fully reastored MGA 1500 Mk1 For Sale (1957) edit C115038 | | | 1957 mga mk1 1500 r.h.d .
complete chassis up nut and bolt restoration completed in early 1990s over the course of 2 years.since restoration car has only covered 1216 miles most of which has been to and from m.o.t station and anual servicing .
exterior: Sits very well on original 72 spoke painted wire wheels which are in very good condition along with very good tyres.paintwork is in a beautiful vermillion red and is super straight without any rust etc. All brightwork is excellant.underneath the car is fantastic and attention to detail in the restoration work is evident.recently fitted new stainless exhaust and 2 brand new 6 volt batteries as the old ones had died due to lack of use .boot and engine bay are again super clean and detailed and there is nothing to do here except keep it clean .
interior: Seats etc are finnished in cream leather ,which makes a lovely contrast to the red .carpets are as new .a period moto lita steering wheel is fitted .all guages are the original jaegar gauges and are all working although the fuel gauge goes all the way to full all the time ! full toneau cover which is as good as new .this car has not seen rain or wet roads since restoration and is kept in a fully heated garage.as a result we have a brand new hood frame (still in its packaging ) and brand new vynal roof with all new fittings this is yet to be fitted but will be given to new owner of the car .i have just motd the car for another year . All previous mots confiming hardly any miles and all receipts are in a massive history file along with pics from a bare chassis .
engine: Is on the button and runs very smooth ..it is showing very good oil pressure and doesnt get hot .
summary:this car is a potential show winner and drives superb . could easily with a bit of time be taken to the next level of concourse ,which are now £25,000 plus .this one is very well priced and represents excellant value for money for a fast appreciating lovely looking classic.
.would consider a p/ex for any interesting classic ,though must be mint .
