1958 Mercedes 300SL W198 For Sale edit C114632 | | | This is a magnificent car, completely original except for a repaint almost forty years ago. In present ownership since early seventies. Fastidiously maintained. Gearbox rebuilt in '80s. it performs beautifully; no smoke, smooth gearshifts, quiet gears, good brakes that don't pull, tight steering, but it is a truly exceptional car, much better than a lot of restored cars you've seen.
