Mclaren M6 GTR Magnificent SOLD DEPOSIT TAKEN SOLD (1988) C114173 | | | Not for sale - it has been sold via a Car and Classic Free Ad | | Factory built by UVA, this is a very rare Mclaren M6 GTR Super Car Replica, built on it`s own spaceframe chassis which means it is registered on it`s own log book unlike most older kit cars which use donner chassis/running gear and log books.
Just been MOT`d, valid until 29/09/2010 and reconditioned front calippers fitted. The car will be taxed upon sale.
The car is powered by a 3.5 V8 Rover unleaded engine with a Renault 27 5 Speed gear box. In recent years it has had extensive work done on it professionally by Magnum Engineering, all the rear end was re-built to bring the car up to proper specifications. It has double wishbone suspension all round, adjustable shocks with cosworth disc brakes all round as well.A custom built twin fan aluminium radiator and a oil cooler, electric wing mirrors, central locking, rear view camera, talking alarm with a pager, JVC stereo with Sony X-plod speakers.
The interior is proffesionally trimmed using cream hide with red piping.
The car is dry stored and has done 12500mls.
It has had roughly £10,000 spent on it less than a 1000mls ago, including a resray and a full engine service while it had been removed for the re-build.
This comes under classic car insurance so it is CHEAP, i paid £260 fully comp with window screen cover limited to 3000mls last year!
