VW Mk1 Golf GTI Cabriolet For Sale (1988) edit C109994 | | | Golf GTI cabriolet in helios blue, with navy blue hood and blue trim. Hood is rip and split free, with tight cables. Bodywork is good, with just a couple of scuffs to the bumper corners. Has factory big bumper and arch kit. The only non standard parts are 15" TSW Stealth wheels, German style plates and a Mk3 VR6 front skirt. It isn't a molested or messed with car, and could be returned to completely standard in about an hour! A couple of niggles: the rev counter and temp gauge are inop, although I am reliably informed that the fault lies within the clock cluster, and used ones can be picked up for about £25-£30. One of the two control cables have broken in each seat, meaning they only tip forward if you manually lift the hooks. Again, a simple fix, and the cables are still available from GSF. It has MOT to April 2010, and is taxed to the end of Feb 2010. This is a drive anywhere car, that is in daily use. Only being sold to fund a VW T4 camper conversion, so if you have a VW T4 van, I might be up for a PX/swap ;-). Any questions, viewings etc, don't hesitate to phone.
