This is my pride and joy, she is a 1964 1500s left hand drive Volkswagen type 3 notch back. She is a daily driver and has never ever let us down. Every where we go she always gets loads of attention even just to the shops. She does have all the rare hard to find parts presnet and correct for the year i.e stainless steel gravel gaurds, chrome over riders, chrome spot light, chrome fog light, rear opening qauters, front opening qauters, all the black arm rests in the front and rear are present, an original empi shifter, 4 original beauty rings for the wheels, original red and white side repeaters which are wired up and do work, original chrome side deluxe trim all present but a little dented. I have also converted the car from 6v to 12v so all the bulbs and front lenses have been changed for new to.
The work that has been done to the car is as follows;-
NEW CRANK, NEW CAMSHAFT, NEW MAIN BEARINGS, NEW BIG END BEARINGS, NEW LITTLE END BEARINGS, NEW LIGHTENED H BEAM CON RODS, NEW BARRELS AND PISTON KIT, NEW SCAT CAM FOLLWERS, NEW PUSH RODS, NEW PUSH ROD TUBES, NEW SHADEK OIL PUMP, NEW FULL ELRING GASKET SET, NEW 009 DISTRIBUTOR, NEW BOSCHE BLUE COIL, NEW SET OF GERMAN HT LEADS, 4 NEW SPARK PLUGS, NEW FAN BELT, ALL NEW FUEL LINE AND CLIPS, SECOND HAND REPLACEMENT CARBS FROM A VW BREAKER, NEW DYNAMO, NEW STARTER MOTOR, SECOND HAND RUST FREE HEAT EXCHANGERS, NOS SILENCER EXHAUST, CASE LINE BORED.
SEATS RE-TRIMMED IN ORIGINAL SALT AND PEPPER MATERIAL, SLIGHTLY LOWEREDON THE FRONT TO GIVE IT THAT GORGEOUS STANCE.
THE FRONT BRAKING SYSTEM HAS BEEN TOTALLY RE-PLACED WITH A CSP DISC AND CALIPER KIT WHICH WAS OVER 1100 POUNDS.
THE BODY WORK IS VERY SOLID, THE PAINT WORK IS NOT SHOW WINNING BUT IS MORE THAN USEABLE. SHE COMES WITH 11 MONTHS TEST AND 10 MONTHS TAX.
Overall this is a super car for someone, like i've said she is my pride and joy and i want some else to look after her and enjoy like i've done as i know have a camper to look after.
