Classic ROLLS ROYCE 20/25 1st Metallic For Sale (1935) edit C105636 | | | Here you have an incredible opportunity: purchase the only 1 of its kind in the world. This is the FIRST ever car to be painted in metallic by Rolls Royce. The only 1 of its kind and here it is. There is no other as rare as this. How you see it in these pictures is exactly how it left the factory over seventy years ago.
When they built this particular model, because of its being the first metallic car painted in those days with fish scales, they made subtle differences to this car that no other 20/25 had: new-style interior, two-tone, handles, wedges; many little enhancements that are totally unique to this car only.
A few years, ago she underwent total 'ground-up' restoration and in incredible amount of money was spent to get this as near to original as possible. It took several years to complete, but the result is of outstanding craftsmanship. She starts and drives superbly and would be an absolute must have for any avid collector.
There is a huge amount of history with this car. There are several folders and would take hours and hours of reading. It also includes the original bill of sale and order form Rolls Royce, with specification sheets.
