This original Fiat 500 L is in great shape for an iconic classic car manufactured in 1971. She was re-sprayed in 2007, although bonnet in 2009 due to a scratch not perferct. All wheel arches, floor pans and undercarriage have been sealed in 2009 with red zinc oxide and black silicon seal paint for anti rust prevention, all by hand! All interior floors and back seat areas have also been anit rust sealed - there is no rust anywhere and the car has been garaged for most of her life.
The 499cc engine and standard gearbox, both have both been cleaned, serviced and had oil changes. New points, HT leads, fanbelt, spark plugs, fuel pump, fuel filter, starter motor and air filter have all been added. Exhaust is all good and air intake hoses and heater hoses replaced. She starts on the button and drives really well.
New cylinders, shoes, clips, hoses and pedal rubbers replaced. All new tyres plus spare wheel and jack.
Electrics all checked and everything works fine. New bulbs/fuses and battery plus terminals.
The interior is original and very good condition tanned. New door cards, pull handle surrounds, door stops and new brown carpet. New roof mount and several window rubbers plus a new washer pump and original front seat belts.
In addition the following new items have been replaced: both bumpers, bull bars/spacers/bolts, lens covers/rubbers & screws, wiper blades, rubbers, silver window profiles, silver gutter trim, number plate lamp, badges, hub caps and nuts, gear lever boot, gear stick knob and new chrome wing mirror.
The Fiat 500 will come with used white wall rims tyres, although not shown in photos.
Car has 1 year MOT (to September 2010), road tax exempt, V5C, new classic black/silver metal embossed number plates and paperwork. She is great fun to drive, easy to park, economical, cheap to insure and really turns heads!
A great deal of hard work has been put into this classic Fiat 500 that can be used everyday.
