BelAir 2door Coupe For Sale (1957) edit C102360 | | | One owner, highly original restoration project
Good news about this 57 it is very and highly an original, un-messed around with 57 Bel Air Coupe, this is the original paint a very rare combination of Dusk Pearl bottom and Imperial Ivory top. I see no areas of previous accidents or any major body damage/repair to the car, bondo, hammer work etc. All the stainless steel is in excellent condition except the left front side moulding which is flattened a little and the left rear fender cap which has a little dent in the edge. The interior is all original in silver and black brocade, all the interior chrome and stainless trim is in excellent condition, needs polishing. The carpet is in need of cleaning, the rear seat and side panels are great, the headliner has a hole the size of a "quarter" on the right side, otherwise perfect. The front seat and the door panels need to be redone. Engin, and original 283 V8 and PowerGlide automatic transmission, starts and runs, car moves and stops. Power steering works. Engine and trans are the original units, heater hoses still have the original spring type clamps. All the glass is good. All of the Chrome pieces can be rechromed except for the rear bumper, it looks pretty bad. Chrome shop may be able to save it. Speedo show 84000 miles I am sure that its pretty close to original mileage.
This car has all the original parts and is a perfect candidate for a Concours restoration. You will not find a more complete and original, one owner, 1957 Chevrolet Belair Coupe project anywhere.
