Not far from its original condition in 1988.
A very well looked after car, by all its owners.
I do have most of the service history and MOTs.
MOT does not run out until March 2010, service is also due at the same time.
Package includes the Haynes Manual, also any spare parts I have. Including all indicator lenses and bulbs.
Bodywork
Is in good condition and the underneath is rust free.
The Gti has been garaged when it has not been used, over the past ten years.
This is the 5 door version.
Metallic Atlas Grey.
Original small bumpers with black indicators all round. (I do have all the orange ones in my garage, part of the package).
Xenon headlight bulbs as the originals are useless. (Again I do have the originals, still part of the package).
Rear window wiper motor has been changed.
14'' BSS RA none scratched, with 4x Pirelli Tyres which have done 8000miles, hardly worn.
Interior
All original seats, carpets, door cards and dash.
Small amount of wear on driver’s seat.
The roof liner has been replaced.
Has new electric window motors and runners, in the front doors.
Sunroof seal has been changed recently.
Sony F-Series speakers front and back.
Kenwood CD- Player.
All electrics work in the car, inside and out.
Engine
Has had a lot of money spent of this:
Engine, clutch and gearbox all run smoothly.
Has had new:
Cooling hoses,
Cooling fan,
Engine mounts front and back,
Valves and head gasket when the valves were done,
All the engine sensors,
Heater Matrix
Ignition leads,
Idle valve,
Air intake hose,
Front anti-roll bushes,
Newish Exhaust (standard with chrome tips)
K and N air filter, so it runs smooth,
Serviced often,
Just had a new cam belt and fan belt, in last service.
