Reynard Sports 2000 Racing Car. 2ltr Race Pinto For Sale (1988) edit C100392 | | | The very first Reynard Sports 2000 chassis no 1. Rebuilt by Pedrazza in early 1990s for European series. Car in good condition and on the button ready to go testing.
Car was bought in Germany with blown engine. This is now replaced and fully operational. A new clutch has just been fitted as has the front supension. Two piece bodywork in great condition as is the tub. When brought to the UK the vehicle was partially stripped down and rebuilt by Historic F1 team. Lap times have been improved session upon session and it now only wants dialing in for the new driver.
Car has one set of wheels with slicks and another set included to take the wets.
Price £16500. May consider a part exchange.
This car has a considerable history racing in Europe, if you Google 'Reynard SC89' there are a number of pictures of this vehicle in various liveries. To my knowledge no other Reynard Sports 2000 has anything like this history and there is currently only one other known to be racing in Europe and that is seen sometimes in the UK pinto Sports 2000 races. We have the wing available so it could be run in other classes, possibly even UK duratec with an engine change.
